My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights the second week of October. Tom, the owner, is such a nice gentlemen, always asking if there’s anything that we need. The same goes for his assistants, Ann Marie and Karen, We didn’t have dinner here, but the breakfasts were delicious, especially the pancakes, which were 3 giant ones that I could hardly finish. The room was small but comfortable. My only complaint is that the TV is too small. Other then that we had a fantastic time at the Inn and all the surrounding area when we drove around, just beautiful!!!
Fran felt very welcome and said this trip was refreshing. She left her alarm clock in the room and after calling, the folks at Echo Lake mailed it to her the very next day. Now that’s what I call service. Food was excellent and the room certainly met her needs. Roads leading to the Inn are also classic New England– twist and shout.
On our way back from Killington we stopped at the Echo Lake Inn bar for a break and were quite happy that we did. They have a small bar area with deep leather chairs where you can peacefully enjoy an apres ski drink.
Its quite, comfy, well stocked and the service is exactly as much or as little as you want, they seem to know how to be just right.
Great place to stay for Okemo Skiing. Staff was great and very accommodating. Food was excellent. Hot Breakfast included with stay. Dinner was top notch. Easy ride to mountain. Would definitely return.
The Echo lake Inn is a historic inn that stays true to its roots, but provides everything ski country needs with incredible value. It offers casual elegance without the pretensions associated with this. Smile that you have a key and not a swipe. My wife and I found our room spacious and homey, yet we most enjoyed the plush leather chairs surrounded by photos of Calvin Coolidge and Thomas Edison in the bar. I knew we in the right place when the Patriots game was on, we entered the living room saw the 60 inch screen. We watched the whole game with Tom the Innkeeper, and trust me, it was worth the price of admission. Do enjoy a dinner at the restaurant. Another step back in time in only the best of ways; the diners have space between tables, and the food is just so good. My son and daughter-in-law got married this past fall at the Echo Lake Inn and honestly, we have memories that we will cherish forever. We want to extend a heart-felt thank you the Echo Lake Inn for their flawless execution of our event, the wonderful food, and the simple laughter and spontaneity that was the dance floor. This was an unforgettable experience and the only given is we will be back, not just as a couple but for extended family reunions. It was that good.

Third visit to Echo Lake Inn. This time we brought 115 guests with us for what people called the best wedding ever. Everything from the accommodations, to staff, to the food was perfect. The inn is large and spacious enough to accommodate everyone from singles to families of 7. Everyone took advantage of the pool, lake, and grounds.
